Alaina's Birthday (Sorry it's so late.)

Here is a picture of the birthday girl. Alaina's B-day was May 7, 2009. She had so much fun at Auntie Ruth's Princess party that she wanted to have one for her birthday too. So we invited the Mavy's over and had a princess party. Joe and I were both taking classes and were a little to busy to invite a lot of friends over for the party. Alaina was fine with just having the Mavy's over. They are her best friends anyway. We had the girls come and bring their dress up dresses and shoes. We were going to eat dinner first and then do the princess activities. After we ate dinner we had the girls all make princess necklaces for themselves with string and beads. The activities were called a princess challenge. The "Princesses" had to complete tasks to become a true princess. First they had to get dressed up in their princess dresses and then we had put all their shoes and then some in a big pile in the middle of the floor and they had to find their shoes and get them on. Then the Princesses had to be rescued by the princes. We put them up on the top of Alaina's bed and had their dad's "Save" them. Then they were crowned true princesses. It was time for Ice cream and cake after that and then opening of presents. The Mavy's gave her a little webkinz bird she named Tweet-tweet. And from her Mom and Dad she got a Cinderella pollypocket play set. Now that Alaina is five she has started school. She is really enjoying it. She is always talking about the new friends that she is making. Well that's all I can think of for now. Next week I am planning to blog on Kaylee's Birthday and then the next will be for Wesley and then what else I can think of or what is going on. So here's to hoping.

That was so fun! I'm sure the Mavy girls probably aren't her best friends any more now that she goes to school and all. ;) And we won't be holding our breathes while we wait for your next post!:) Miss ya!

Hey Sarah, your blog is so cute! Alaina is gorgeous! What a fun birthday party :) I think it's awesome that they're such good friends with their cousins. I had a couple cousins I was close to growing up even though they lived a couple states away and we're still good friends. Happy Wednesday!
