Halloween Time!
We had fun for Halloween! On the tuesday before Halloween we went to a Trunk or Treat at the church and played games and got some candy for the kids. They loved it. Then on Halloween we had not really planed it all that well. I had invited the missionarys over for dinner so they came at about 5 O'clock and left shortly after 6 O'clock. Then we got the kids in their costumes and went looking for a place to trick or treat at. The Bishops wife had asked me to bring the kids trick or treating at her house because they don't get any trick or treaters. There are only a few areas where people go trick or treating around here. Well that took us about 45min. to an hour to do because they live out there. So when we got back to town we weren't sure if we sould just go home or try some real trick or treating. It was getting kind of late. But we wanted the kids to know what it is realy like to trick or treat. So we went to where they block off the streets for trick or treaters to see if there were still anyone out. There were so we all got out of the car and did it for real. They kids were so cute saying "Trick or Treat!" It was like they couldn't beleive that they could just go up to someones door and say "Trick or Treat" and some complete stranger would just give you some candy. I think they enjoyed just walking around outside with our family too. After a little while there were alot more houses who had run out of candy and turned off their lites, so we decided to call it a night. The kids would not let go of their candy buckets while they were in the car so we let them have one inspected treat to tide them over until we got home. I think the kids enjoyed their Halloween this year. I hope all of you enjoyed your Halloween as well. Love you all very much.
